'I would highly recommend an author visit from Sophie Stewart. 

The sessions were very well-resourced, and the classroom set-up instilled awe and wonder in my year 5 pupils as they entered an atmospheric bubbling cauldron and a tableful of 'spellbinding' items. 

Sophie introduced herself and read from her book with interaction and roleplay from the pupils. The writing workshop was pitched perfectly, and the children loved the hands-on session, which definitely enhanced their writing. 

There was a 'buzz' in the classroom for days after, and I'm sure the children will remember Sophie's visit for years to come.'
